Brand.Live Launch - 10/22/2009
On Monday 10/19 Nordica USA launched their latest dealer communication tool, NordicaLive, a web application that uses live video and text chatting functions. Nordica Product manager Willy Booker gave a product clinic on the Nordica Ski line to 130 dealers around the country. Customers from Colorado, Utah, California, Texas, Boston and more joined into the 1 hour session. Customers provided feedback and asked questions in real time as Willy explained the features of the new product line.
"What are the differences between last years Nitrous and this years two models?" asked Mr. Wolf from Maine. Willy responded in real time for all participants to hear.
NordicaLive is in it's infancy but Tyler Kipp, Nordica Marketing Manager, anticipates the program will set Nordica apart from the competition by improving product training at the store level, decreasing costs and generating Buzz. Ultimately, reps in the field will use Nordica live to train dealers when a trip to the physical location is not possible.
This winter, Nordica plans to launch the program to the general public. High profile athletes will participate in demos and product launches. They can even go mobile with the broadcasting camera to 'tour' a facility.
